a few questions we never got answers to “what if..” (might contain spoilers)

1. what happens when a human is bitten by both vampire and a werewolf? at the same time.

2. also what if a Ghoul/Zombie, would the vampire blood cancel them out? (since vampires are kinda already “dead”).

3. why we never see a Nephalem of an Angel and a Demon? only human hybrids, what if an arch angel and a hell prince/knight take a human host and then breed. could they create the most powerful being ever created?

4. despite Nephalem being op in almost any comic/book, in supernatural they were all way to weak. castiel seemed afraid of Nephalems, as if they are very dangerous. yet most of them were killed with ease by a normal angel or sam/dean with a blade.

5. who is stronger? Sam pumped on demon blood and has no Soul (he was op without his soul) or Demon Dean with the mark of cain. to remind you, that’s basically a prince of hell vs a knight of hell (https://www.reddit.com/r/Supernatural/comments/2kbm3x/dean_full_on_mark_of_cain_vs_sam_hopped_up_on/)

6. will castiel ever get his powers back? he was really cool when he could teleport on the fly.

7. why was Lilith so weak? and why in the world Cain is stronger than her. wasn’t she suppose to be the very first Demon ever created by Lucifer? yet Sam pumped on Demon blood killed her like she was nothing (if I recall) so that’s like a yellow eyes (prince of hell) killing the very first demon, not even a knight of hell closer to cain.

8. Eve was the mother of all, yet she died easily like some kind of alpha breed. which brings me to… The whole thing with x weapon can kill y god/monster is kind of a plot hole on this show, or at least unexplained. Usually, for pagan gods for instance, it takes a certain type of wood/metal to gank them- but how could anyone know this if there’s only one of that god and they’re clearly still alive?

9. it used to be so simple in the first seasons, when Demons weren’t so weak. Telekinesis used to work on dean and sam, not anymore. before the gates of Hell opened only strong demons passed through, so you can understand it. however most demons have low tiers of Telekinesis, yet they don’t use it anymore. did Dean and sam used some kind of markings? because other than Angel clocking, I don’t recall. also Crowly can fling them around just fine, tho I will agree that his powers have grown because of the souls he collected.

10. do sam and dean have super strength? since they can fight angels and demons like they are normal people. punching them in the face hard enough for the meat suits to flinch. I do have an answer for this, and it is that most powerful or fighting angels and demons got killed in the fighting. so now we get low tier angels/demons fighting with swords.

thank you for reading, and share your thoughts

Edit:

another amazing question: soulless sam (no blood powers) vs demon dean (no mark of cain) my vote is on sam, because demons are cocky. also a being without any emotion won’t waste any second to even talk, he goes for the kill 100% of the time. demon dean seemed bored most of the time, and was just immune to a few things that would kill a human. sam trained non stop and was a scary beast.

  1. I binge-watched the entire 13 seasons in a month so my memory of specific details isn’t that clear…but I’ll try to answer #7.

I think that the reason that Lilith was killed so easily as because she wanted to die, to sacrifice herself to break the last seal and let Lucifer out of his cage. She was the first demon Lucifer ever created so she was extremely loyal to him and has been trying to free him since he was first locked up. However, until the first seal was broken (something about a righteous man spilling innocent blood in hell or something) there wasn’t much she could do. But after that, she did everything she could to break the other seals until it came down to the last one which required her death.

So she let Sam kill her because she wanted to die so that she could break the seal and free Lucifer.

  2. > despite Nephalem being op in almost any comic/book, in supernatural they were all way to weak. castiel seemed afraid of Nephalems, as if they are very dangerous. yet most of them were killed with ease by a normal angel or sam/dean with a blade.

I’m confused… there’s only been two Nephilim on the show, Jack and Jane from season 8. Jack has proven to be a pretty formidable and powerful creature, while Jane, though she did die to an angel blade, put up a solid fight against two angels.

  3. Nephlims are weak? Your obviously not caught up, and I would say demon Dean If it were long enough to sever the bridge love towards Sam, but even as a demon he never actually tried to kill him, considering how many times they’ve fought, and Sam’s lost, I don’t think even as a demon dean tried to kill him, if he had actually tried he’d of won. I wanna know the answer to a few as well, like the ghoul Question and the vampire/werewolf bite you,

  4. Usually Sam and Dean get the jump on the demon not giving them a chance to use telekinesis, especially in the later seasons. In the beginning they were much more run in guns blazing get there ass kicked and now it’s more of research first sneak around kill kill

  5. >a human is bitten by both vampire and a werewolf? at the same time

Unless the show decides to explore this, we don’t know. Monsters in this universe are rooted not just in biological make up, but also altered spiritually. Whereas in other franchise you get hybrids due to mixture of lineages, the monster hybrids we have were intentionally crafted by Eve herself, and with some margin of error before getting her formula right.

    >also what if a Ghoul/Zombie, would the vampire blood cancel them out?

    See above

    >why we never see a Nephalem of an Angel and a Demon? only human hybrids, what if an arch angel and a hell prince/knight take a human host and then breed. could they create the most powerful being ever created?

Also unknown until the show decides to tackle this.

    >despite Nephalem being op in almost any comic/book, in supernatural they were all way to weak

Like others in the thread, I’d have to ask if you’re caught up in the current lore.

    >who is stronger? Sam pumped on demon blood and has no Soul (he was op without his soul) or Demon Dean with the mark of cain. to remind you, that’s basically a prince of hell vs a knight of hell

Any being with the Mark can’t die. That is tied to Amara. Amara is stronger than any demon. Also where are you getting this comparison of Sam with demon blood being similar in power to a Prince of Hell?

    >will castiel ever get his powers back? he was really cool when he could teleport on the fly

Castiel at full power breaks the story and makes hunts incredibly easy and achievable in under 5 minutes. Every franchise that introduces an overpowered character into their team has to have some handicap or conflict so that there would be some challenge.

Two things–power creep and Lilith’s debut being in a disjointed season due to writers’ guild strike. However, do note that during her reign, all the other powerful demons (Tammi/Astaroth, Alastair and Crowley) all followed her. And even in S12, Lilith was reaffirmed to be one of five demons with the rightful claim to the throne of hell. Yes, we saw little of her, but that’s because of her role as the big bad, while Alastiar was her dragon or muscle. She was supposed to be this shadowy threat that looms in the background. Compare this to Lucifer and Michael. Michael was implied to be stronger than Lucifer, but Michael got so little screen time. If we just go by screen time, then Gabriel would appear to be the most powerful because he displayed the most abilities. Cain had the Mark which means he’s invulnerable. He’s a special case. Again, I don’t know where you’re getting the Sam = Prince of Hell equivalence.

    >Eve was the mother of all, yet she died easily like some kind of alpha breed. which brings me to… The whole thing with x weapon can kill y god/monster is kind of a plot hole on this show, or at least unexplained. Eve was a red herring. *Supernatural* took a page out of its predecessors *Buffy the Vampire Slayer* and *Angel* where there is a villain set up to be a big bad only to be replaced the last stretch as either a little bad or a red herring for a surprise/greater threat. Pagan deities also often hated each other and they could have easily propagated myths to have their rivals killed. We know their own weapons kill or harm each other–Artemis’ arrows killed Zeus and Prometheus, Thor’s Mjolnir killed Villi, Kali caused internal injury to Mercury with just a stare). Some ancient hunters may have documented attempts (I think *Remember the Titans* implied this) and Sam and Dean are merely going off of these. Oracles, seers and prophets could be possible sources. Some don’t really die–Osiris was said to be only banished for 1,000 years or something like that.

    Power creep or sloppy writing

    >do sam and dean have super strength? since they can fight angels and demons like they are normal people

Nope. Just experience on how to fight them more effectively. Angels have also been weakened significantly since S8-9 as shown by Lily Sunders.

  6. Well to address the points above;

    1. If bitten by both they either become dead or a werewolf since to become a vampire one must drink said vampires blood

3/4. The reason why a Nephalem hasn’t been seen is because both Angels and Demons extremely hate one another. As for weak Nephilim there have only been two seen in the show so far plus Jane was hiding from the angels and Jack is still growing and discovering his powers.

    5. In regards to Demon Blood plus Souless Sam vs Demon Dean. Dean takes this since not only can he not die but he kinda shurg
Abaddon Telekinesis when he was still human with the mark.

    6. Back in season 11 They could have made God healed both Lucifer and Castiel instead of just Lucifer only but they didn’t, so until Castiel wings are restored he will forever remained nerf.

    7. It could be said that the same way Lucifer communicate with Dagon he also did to Lilith hence Sam beating her.

    9. To be fair demon do tend to hold back their power and taunt a down human so sam and dean tend to use demons sadism to their advantage.

    10. To be honest I just headcanon that after the apocalypse God ( just like how he upgrade Castiel from angel to seraph)kinda buff Sam and Dean hence their ability to punch away any angel/demon

  7. What do you mean that most nephalem were killed with ease? Jack is the only nephalem in the series and he’s still alive, and can’t be hurt by angel of demon blades. I guess there was actually another Nephalem before but that was only one Nephalem, so you can’t just say that.

  8. And you found a true plothole with your eve thing. I’ll have to rewatch it for the. 300th time and Ill get back to you on a solution for that. If one exists.

  9. > why we never see a Nephalem of an Angel and a Demon? only human hybrids, what if an arch angel and a hell prince/knight take a human host and then breed. could they create the most powerful being ever created?

My theory on this is a Nephilim / anti-christ is *specifically* the cross-species of a human and an angel/demon, because of the fact that human souls are much more powerful than angel/demon souls. The show has repeatedly implied, and outright stated at some points, that human souls are special. It could be the combination of what makes the human soul special, and angelic grace / whatever “juice” demons have, that makes Nephilim so much more powerful than the pure species.

    > despite Nephalem being op in almost any comic/book, in supernatural they were all way to weak. castiel seemed afraid of Nephalems, as if they are very dangerous. yet most of them were killed with ease by a normal angel or sam/dean with a blade.

There’s no way to answer this without spoiling the end of S12 and the entirety of S13, but I will say that it depends on the power of the angel/demon that sired it.

    > who is stronger? Sam pumped on demon blood and has no Soul (he was op without his soul) or Demon Dean with the mark of cain. to remind you, that’s basically a prince of hell vs a knight of hell

Interesting question. I’d say Sam pumped up on demon blood w/ no soul. Demon Dean may not be able to die due to the Mark, but Sam is immune to demon powers while hopped up on demon blood, and he can easily overpower even strong demons like Lilith or Alastair. Sam may not be able to kill Demon Dean, but he can certainly overpower him.

    > why was Lilith so weak? and why in the world Cain is stronger than her. wasn’t she suppose to be the very first Demon ever created by Lucifer? yet Sam pumped on Demon blood killed her like she was nothing (if I recall) so that’s like a yellow eyes (prince of hell) killing the very first demon, not even a knight of hell closer to cain.

Remember that Lilith wanted to die. Lilith’s plan was to let Sam kill her, so that he could open the Cage and release Lucifer. While she was certainly powerful, perhaps one of the most powerful demons on the show (she *did* cause an explosion that destroyed an entire police station), she was careful not to harm Sam more than required.

    > it used to be so simple in the first seasons, when Demons weren’t so weak. Telekinesis still works on them, but demons have been nerfed considerably. Whenever Sam and Dean got into a fist fight with a demon around season 2 and 3, the demon was substantially stronger than either of them. Around season 4 is when demons started to get nerfed harder and harder, and the show doesn’t explain why that’s the case.

Demons, as I said above, can’t answer since the show doesn’t give a reason why. Angels, remember that they were thrown out of Heaven in season 9. That caused every single angel to have their wings clipped, and they no longer had direct access to Heaven’s grace, which considerably weakened them. Even in later seasons when they get back into Heaven, I recall some angel saying that Metatron’s spell damaged Heaven to the point where angel’s just couldn’t get back to the level of power they were originally.
